Tehran (ECOIDEAL) – During weekdays ending up to May 31, approximately 575,213 MT of commodities worth over 339.5 million USD were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange.
According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 73,229 MT of various products worth close to 82.7 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, 54,017 MT of steel, 10,000 MT of sponge iron, 5,160 MT of copper, 3,900 MT of aluminum, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 460,920 MT of different commodities with the total value of 242 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 133,574 MT of bitumen, 75,275 MT of polymer products, 179,000 MT of VB feed stock, 26,070 MT of lube cut oil, 30,957 MT of chemical products, 12,800 MT of sulfur, 1,978 MT of insulation as well as 1,265 MT of oil were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 39,520 MT of various commodities worth over 13.4 million USD were traded. On this trading floor, 6,200 MT of crude vegetable oil, 2,150 MT of sugar, 31,100 MT of wheat, 30,000 day old chicks as well as 40 MT dates were traded by customers.
It is worth noting that during this week; the side market of IME witnessed trading of 210 MT of powdered milk, 1,030 MT of scrap metal, 100 MT of sugar cube and 204 MT of polyester threads grade A and WP.
