Tehran (ecoideal) – During weekdays ending up to August 16, approximately 512,158 MT of commodities worth over 288 million USD were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange.
According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 116,152 MT of various products worth close to 55 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, 82,500 MT of steel, 30,000 MT of sponge iron, 3,500 MT of copper, 2 Kg of gold bullion, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates were traded by the customers.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 343,586 MT of different commodities with the total value of 204 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 135,979 MT of bitumen, 59,381 MT of polymer products, 70,000 MT of VB feed stock, 35,000 MT of lube cut oil, 39,573 MT of chemical products, 1,890 MT of sulfur, 1,050 MT of insulation as well as 713 MT of oil were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 50,872 MT of various commodities worth over 26.5 million USD were traded. On this trading floor, 17,060 MT of sugar, 33,805 MT of wheat as well as 7,415 kg of saffron were traded by customers.
Furthermore, 86 MT of mineral products and 531 MT of metal scrap were traded on the IME’s side market.
