Tehran (ecoideal) – During weekdays ending up to May 24, approximately 585,430 MT of commodities worth over 331.4 million USD were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange.
According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 251,849 MT of various products worth close to 178.3 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, 221,037 MT of steel, 25,000 MT of iron ore, 3,160 MT of copper, 1,500 MT of aluminum, 1,000 MT of cement, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, as well as 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 210,319 MT of different commodities with the total value of 149.3 million USD were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 36,657 MT of bitumen, 66,371 MT of polymer products, 60,000 MT of VB feed stock, 17,500 MT of lube cut oil, 25,607 MT of chemical products, 2,860 MT of sulfur, 200 MT of insulation, 1,104 MT of oil as well as 20 MT of argon were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 119,671 MT of various commodities worth over 33 million USD were traded. On this trading floor, 108,150 MT of wheat, 61,000 day old chicks, 2,450 MT of sugar, 8,000 MT of crude vegetable oil as well as 1,010 MT dates were traded by customers.
It is worth noting that during this week; the side market of IME witnessed trading of 200 MT of agricultural commodities and 1,019 MT of scrap metal.
